Gina's Portfolio:
 UI Design Project

Part of the curriculum of the E-Commerce Specialist program at the Computer Career Institute at Johns Hopkins University is to study User Interface design. To that end we were asked to create a couple of layouts, one lyrical and one industrial. Here are the designs I created.

These designs are in PNG 24 bit Format. I have provided a thumbnail to give an idea of what the design looks like.
Lyrical Layout Style
This is the lyrical style
which shows a more creative layout
and abstract shape elements.
Industrial Style Design
This is the industrial style
which shows a more traditional layout
and very geometric shape elements.

Flash Project

To continue with the ideas introduced in the UI Design project, and to help illustrate the uses of Flash, we were instructed to pic one of the designs and to create a flash site out of it. Obviously the implementation would have to be a little different, but the look and feel was to remain the same. I had not completed the industrial style by the time we started Flash, I used the lyrical design.

As I worked on the introduction to the site, I found that I wanted to post my work to get suggestions from friends and family. As it progress, I found that I ended up with several design iterations, so that I can demonstrate the progress of my design. I am posting them here.
