Summary

My primary interests are developing Computer Based Training (CBT) with a focus on modules adhering to W3C Accessibility Standards and Section 508 compliance. I would like to continue to utilize my skills in Web Development, increasing my HTML/DHTML and CSS skills.

CBT Development Specialist

• Develops Computer Based Training modules for a large government agency throughout its lifecycle including planning, storyboarding, content development, course style design, quality assurance and delivery.
• Promoted to Computer Based Training Lead, directing training and documentation material development. 
• Uses Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop to design, develop and maintain all training module content and functionality. Writes quiz questions and creates quizzes using Macromedia Flash. 
• Uses TechSmith SnagIt and Qarbon ViewletBuilder to capture screenshots and create demonstrations used throughout the modules and in accompanying documentation.
• Records Audio Voiceover content using Sony SoundForge to incorporate into the static and dynamic content of the training modules.  Edits and enhances previously recorded audio content. 
• Update and redesign training modules to be more user-friendly and to adhere to both the W3C Accessibility Standards and Section 508 guidelines.
• Uses industry standard Learning Management System technologies such as SCORM 1.2.

• Took on key Project Lead roles including analyzing project requirements and writing requests for proposals (RFP), serving as a liaison between the sales and marketing departments, answering questions and organizing project work flow.
• Maintained and updated the Terabeam Wireless website using Macromedia Dreamweaver. Redesigned the site to make better use of CSS and standardized the pages to make them more accessible and user-friendly.
• Maintained and updated web based applications using PHP and MySQL databases.

• Utilized extensive experience in Windows, Microsoft Word and Outlook to provide technical support to clients and provided client instruction on basic technology and software utilization.
• Consulted on various desktop and web technologies such as ACDSEE and W3C Accessibility Standards utilized for Section 508 Compliance.
• Managed multiple sites simultaneously using Macromedia Dreamweaver to edit the HTML, TopStyle to edit the CSS, and JavaScript to add dynamic site visuals and functionality. Prepared site templates in Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady.
• Created custom PHP/MySQL applications for clients such as searchable directories, secured areas and form processors that send responses via email. Customized existing open source PHP applications and redeveloped modules for larger portal projects.

• Designed promotional material for both MDP and Babyease using Photoshop.

Data-i Inc. – Web Graphic Designer

• Created the User Interface from use cases for the Oracle Press Book “Oracle9i AS: Building J2EE Applications” by Morisseau-Leroy using Macromedia Dreamweaver to create HTML and Adobe Photoshop for image design.

• Designed the site using Web Accessibility Standards to be very backwards compatible and accessible as the primary audience of the site consisted of scientists, especially those in the field or in third world countries.

• Served as the Webmaster for Coral Health and Monitoring Program Server (CHAMP) and AOML/Ocean Chemistry Division site.
• Revamped and maintained site pages with frequent updates using Hotmetal and Adobe Photoshop.
